Black and White photography combines only black and white in a continuous spectrum, producing a range of shades of gray. So really no image is just black and white. It is technically a “grayscale”, or more specifically “grayscale monochrome”. Naturally, some images are better in black and white than others. You might not like, for example, a bowl of mixed fruit to be in black and white so selecting the right image(s) is important. Creating a true black and white image is not as easy as a click of the mouse. There are a number of ways to obtain a great looking B&W image and we offer a large variety of black and white imagery. See the gallery below for some great examples of the many ways to transform your images.
