We seemed to have the luck of the Irish on Sunday, July 2, 2023, while capturing Rachel and Trey’s wedding at Aberdeen Manor in Valparaiso, Indiana. Only one time during the various showers all day long it interfered with the wedding when the wedding party and the bride and groom were walking over to the chapel for the ceremony part of the day (see photo above). By the time the ceremony ended, it had stopped raining and guests were able to walk to the reception for celebrating with dinner and dance.  We also were able to get some outdoor images captured with a break in the clouds.

Spirits were never dampened throughout the day and like all of our weddings, you could feel the love and support of family and friends. Aberdeen Manor is a wonderful place for weddings and we used the front foyer area in front of the fireplace to capture family photos when the weather was not cooperative. The setting is nice and the staff there is always very accommodating.

The day was extra special as Rachel has 7 sisters who were all part of the wedding party. The youngest sister was 16 years old. It was very cool seeing all her sisters there supporting the ‘big’ and oldest sister on her wedding day.

Rachel with all of her sisters as bridesmaids. They are in order of age starting with age 16 on the far left going to the right.

Given the goofy weather all day it ended up clearing and the day ended up beautifully. Congrats to Rachel and Trey.

Trey was tapped on the shoulder by Rachel so he could do the first look! Always a moving experience.

A bubbles send-off for Rachel and Tray at their wedding on Sunday, July 2, 2023. Nice job everyone on those bubbles!
