For over 20+ years (yep, we’re basically vintage now), we’ve been proudly known as Bella Photography. And if you’ve ever seen our logo, you know it comes with a heartfelt tagline: “Life is Beautiful.” That’s because Bella means beautiful in Italian—and hey, we’ve always aimed to create beautiful photography of the people, places, and sometimes pets that trust us to capture life’s biggest moments.
But here’s the twist: while “Bella” may mean beautiful, it’s apparently also very popular. Like, supermodel-level popular. So when it came time to snag a domain name that matched our name, everything from BellaPhotography.com to BellaStudio.net was long gone. (Seriously, we even checked if “BellaWithACamera.biz” was available. Nope.)
Fast-forward to a recent trip, where we were lugging our trusty Pelican cases through the airport (yes, we are that couple who sticker-bombs all our gear). As I glanced at our logo, which is on literally everything we own except our toothbrushes, I had an “Aha!” moment. What if we just embraced the whole tagline? What if we made bellalifeisbeautiful.com our domain?
Cue dramatic movie music.
Jodi and I put our heads together, which is usually followed by coffee, laughter, and at least one Google search. We typed it in and… drumroll… it was AVAILABLE! We did a happy dance (not pictured), bought the domain, and now we proudly present to you our new web alias: bellalifeisbeautiful.com!
Don’t worry—we’re not getting rid of our original domain (bellaphotographs.com has been with us longer than some of our camera lenses). But now, if you ever forget that old-school name, just remember our motto, our sticker, our entire vibe: Bella. Life is Beautiful. Type it all in, and there we’ll be—ready to make more memories with you.
