This journey began in 2010 at The Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park, where Wayne, then Director of Catering, played a pivotal role in the “Dream Wedding Giveaway” hosted by 101.9 The Mix.
This radio contest gifted one lucky couple, Jori and Ryan Griffith, an unforgettable wedding. Wayne generously provided the venue, dinner, and wedding cake, while a DJ contributed their services. We offered photography and a custom wedding album to complete the magic. It was an unforgettable collaboration that marked the beginning of our relationship with Wayne.
The Griffiths, now thriving in Glenview, IL, with their daughters Thea (9) and Liv (6), remain a wonderful reminder of how meaningful connections can lead to lasting memories. Due to that encounter with Wayne, we could break into the Chicago hotel scene, offering services to the Fairmont, the neighboring Swissotel, and the Intercontinental on the magnificent mile downtown.
