Joe's Bread Shoot
Yesterday, September 22, 2025, we had the plesure of spending some time with the amazing products from Joe’s Bread in Chesterton, Indiana. Not only did we get to enjoy their delicious breads and pastries (which are worth every bite), but we also had the opportunity to photograph a variety of their products in a creative shoot that left us both hungry and inspired!
To make the shoot even more authentic, Joe’s team graciously loaned us a couple of their logo coffee mugs, which paired perfectly with their warm baked goods. Our goal was simple: capture the beauty of their products while giving back to a business that has been so generous to their local community. These images will be shared with Joe’s Bread for them to use however they’d like – as a thank you for supporting a cause close to our hearts.
What I Do
Last weekend, Joe stepped up to provide food for the post-event brunch at the Run for Recovery (R4R) event. . .
. . . a walk, run, and bike rundraiser that benefits Three20 Recovery, another wonderful Chesterton-based organization. Bella Photography has proudly photographed this event each year, and seeing local businesses like Joe’s Bread support it makes the community connection even stronger.

This photoshoot gave us the perfect chance to highlight our growing work in food and product photography. It’s an area of our businsess we’re excited to expand, and collaborating with local businesses like Joe’s Bread make it especially meaningful.

Always a Fun Event
We left the event with full memory cards, fuller bellies, and a lot of gratitude. We now get to enjoy the delicious bread and pastries – a side benefit of food photography!
