As photographers, we often play the role of memory wizards, casting spells on special moments in people’s lives to make them unforgettable. Last weekend, Jodi and I had the prestigious task of snapping Savana’s senior photos. She had a burning desire for Fall Seasonal vibes, so we channeled our inner leaf-whisperers and waited until those trees were on point. It was like waiting for a pizza to cook, but man, the payoff was saucy. Rogers-Lakewood Park in Valparaiso was like an autumn paradise, with colors that would make any tree jealous.
Savana was the star, sporting an outfit arsenal that put fashionistas to shame. It’s like having a buffet of photo options. The park’s water features even got in on the action, offering a cool contrast to the fiery red, orange, yellow, and brown leaves. We could’ve posed Savana anywhere, and it would’ve been Instagram-worthy. We’re like location opportunists – if it’s there, it’s fair game for the perfect backdrop.
We spent roughly 90 minutes with Savana, turning her senior dreams into a rainbow of images. These pics are so vibrant; we’re pretty sure she’ll be showing them to her grandkids someday, saying, “This is what cool looked like in my high school days!”
